Through the Aperture — Research on Harmony

Art Quam Anima · March 09 – April 30, 2026

*Through the Aperture — Research on Harmony* is a solo exhibition by Arnaud Quercy presenting twenty-four paintings that transpose Western tonal chords into color through a rigorous chromesthetic system. Each canvas maps a chord's notes — triad, seventh, suspended, power chord — into hues governed by a consistent pitch-to-color correspondence, exploring how voicing and distribution across a surface generate qualitatively distinct fields of harmonic tension. Shown at Art Quam Anima in Paris, the series advances Quercy's ongoing synesthetic practice of making invisible inner harmonics visible.
