Description
What happens when the organic meets what is carefully controlled? In the urban environment—as in the corporate world—humans attempt to master nature, giving it just enough space to exist without disrupting balance. We shape environments where nature is controlled and contained, but is it ever truly tamed? A river cuts through the rigid geometry of human design—a wild force within strict boundaries. Resilience explores this tension. Inspired by Paris, the work reflects the city’s constant negotiation between structure and spontaneity—where the Seine flows through ordered stone, and parks emerge within grids of stone and glass. This 89×146 cm acrylic on linen canvas evokes the delicate balance we strive to impose while celebrating the persistence of the organic within the meticulously constructed.
