Description

G7 appears — the highest G, translating to near-white, the red-orange entirely washed out. Variation 2 is a valley that dips to E1 (black) before climbing all the way to G7, a span of six octaves. Animé at 88, forward-moving, with a blue-green accent at C#3.

C#3 — blue-green — is a chromatic tension outside the E minor chord, appearing in the bass region of the valley's dip. Against the warm yellow-E and red-orange-G palette, the blue-green stands out as a cool intrusion. The valley carries forward motion, the dip and climb both at Animé pace.

Forty percent highlights — the G7 apex and upper register carrying the brightness. The wide span from black E1 to near-white G7 makes this the most extreme-ranging étude in the series: from the very bottom of the chord's range to the near-disappearance of G's color at the extreme high.
