Description
A small piano étude translated into color. The C Major triad — C, E, G — appears here as red, yellow, and red-orange, the chromesthetic translation of this chord. The spread voicing opens across the canvas the way it opens across the keyboard.
This painting belongs to my Synesthetic Explorations series, an ongoing practice of translating harmonic relationships into visual form. Each variation is a study — direct, unadorned, focused on the essential character of the chord.
