C Major - Research on Harmony - Variation 18

A small piano étude translated into color. The C Major triad — C1, C2, E3, E4, G4, E6 — appears here as red toward black, yellow toward yellow-orange and red-orange toward orange, the chromesthetic translation of this chord. The spread voicing spans from C1 to E6, opening across the paper the way it opens across the keyboard.
This painting belongs to my Synesthetic Explorations series, an ongoing practice of translating harmonic relationships into visual form. Each variation is a study — direct, unadorned, focused on the essential character of the chord.
