Description

The closing variation brings a cool accent the series has not heard before. Nine notes trace a valley from Eb2 to G7, Animé, mp, legato, in four — and Db4 enters as a blue-green tension, the only non-warm accent in the entire series. Every other variation carried yellow-orange outsiders; this one carries blue-green instead. The root holds at Eb2, Eb4, and Eb5, the fifth weaves through Bb3 and Bb4 in violet, and the third reaches G4, G6, and G7 in red-orange fading to silver.

The canvas distributes midtones and highlights in generous proportions. Blue-violet and violet fill the center where root and fifth overlap, while the upper thirds dissolve into pale silver at the top. The blue-green accent at Db4 reads as a small cool intrusion in the middle — a new color that shifts the chord's palette away from its usual warm-versus-cool tension. Shadow is modest at the base.

The final study — Eb Major closing with a new voice, the chord's familiar violet and silver interrupted by an unexpected blue-green.
