Description

The most evenly balanced painting in the series. Six notes trace a valley from F#2 to A5 — Animé, p, legato, in four — the softest dynamic so far, the phrase played with restraint. Every member of the triad is present: F#2, F#3, and F#4 carry the root through three registers, C#4 provides the fifth as a single blue-green accent, and A4 and A5 hold the third in warm yellow-orange. No note overwhelms another; the chord speaks in even tones.

The canvas distributes its weight with unusual equilibrium. Shadow, midtone, and highlight each claim a visible share. The roots darken gently from muted green at F#4 through gray at F#3 to near-black at F#2, while the third's warmth fills the upper-middle range in gold and sand. The fifth sits quietly between them in blue-green. Earth tones — green, gold, blue — coexisting without hierarchy.

The chord at its most democratic, every tone present, nothing shouting, the green and the gold at rest.
