Description

The final variation, and the only one where all three chord tones carry real weight. Eight notes trace a valley from F#1 to A7 — Animé, mp, legato, in four — the phrase returning to the walking pulse after four waltzes. C#4 and C#5 hold the fifth in vivid blue-green, A4 and A5 bring the third's warm yellow-orange, and F#5 places the root in cool green at the center. A6 and A7 dissolve into pale silver at the top. No accents intrude — pure triad.

The canvas balances highlights and midtones. The accumulated thirds at altitude fill the upper surface with silver and light gold, while the middle register glows with the chord's true colors — green, blue-green, and warm orange coexisting for the first time in something close to equal measure. Shadow is modest, just F#1 as a dark stroke at the base.

The closing study — F# Minor finally revealing its complete chord, every color present, green root, golden third, blue-green fifth, nothing missing.
