Description

Eight notes played Lent, mp, legato, in four — a bell contour arching from Ab1 to C6, the widest span in the series so far. The root appears four times across the bass and middle registers, the third twice, the fifth once at Eb4. D5 slips in as an orange accent, the only non-chord tone, a brief warm interruption in the cool architecture.

Dark blue toward black fills the bottom where Ab1, Ab2, and Ab3 stack in near-darkness — three registers of root pressing the bass heavy. Red emerges at C4, saturated and burning, the third at its most vivid. Blue-violet whispers at Eb4. The orange accent at D5 glows warm between the chord tones, and above, C6 cools to pale red. The canvas tilts dark: the bass is enormous, the treble thin.

A slow, weighted bell. The root dominates from below in three octaves of shadow, and the single red note at C4 burns like a heartbeat inside the blue-black frame.
