Description

Six notes played Lent, p, legato, in four — the softest variation in the series, a quiet bell arching from Ab2 to D5. The fifth appears twice at Eb3 and Eb4, the third once at C4, the root once. D4 and D5 bring orange accents, the warm visitor present in both the middle and upper registers. A small, concentrated étude, all six notes packed within three octaves.

Blue toward black sits at Ab2 in the bass. The middle register is the most active: blue-violet at Eb3 and Eb4 flanks the red of C4, the cool fifth surrounding the warm third. Orange glows at D4 and D5, the visitor's warmth pressing close to the chord tones. The palette stays in the low-to-mid range — no note above D5, no pale washes, no near-white. Everything saturated, everything close.

The most intimate variation. Soft, slow, compact — the chord and its visitor gathered in a narrow band of the register, colors dense and undiluted.
