Description

The truest statement of the triad. All three chord tones share the canvas generously — Db at four octaves, F at two, Ab at two — and the result is Db Major in near-perfect balance. Eight notes, Animé, soft and legato, the inverted bell dipping low before climbing to F6 at the peak. The four-beat pulse drives the phrase forward with quiet energy.

Blue-green toward black fills the lower registers where the root repeats across octaves. Red-violet appears in the middle where F4 holds a wide presence. Blue leans toward blue-violet at Ab3 and Ab4, the fifth adding depth beside the root. A single yellow-green accent at B3 offers the only warm intrusion — a brief flicker in an otherwise cool field.

Variation 6 is what Db Major sounds like when every chord tone has room to breathe. The balance is rare in this series, where non-chord accents usually compete for attention. Here, the triad speaks clearly.
