Provenance

Description

Ten notes — the densest étude in the series. From F#1 to A#7, the phrase fills nearly every octave with a pitch from the triad or a warm intruder. The root appears five times across the span: near-black in the sub-bass, dark green in the third and fourth octaves, then clearer green at F#5. The third is equally prolific — A#4 in the middle, then rising through A#5, A#6, A#7, the violet paling toward white with each step.

D5 and G5 interrupt with orange and red-orange, warm accents in the central register that break the cool field. The ascending waltz — Animé, mp, legato — climbs steadily, but the density gives it weight that the sparser variations lack. Every octave has something to say.

This is the most complete statement of F# Major in the series: root, third, fifth, and accents all present, spread across seven octaves. The cool-green palette is fully populated for the first and only time.
