Three types of warm accents appear — orange, yellow-orange, red-orange — alongside the chord tones, making this the richest chromesthetic palette in the series.

The colors of B Major: B = yellow-green, D# = green, F# = blue-violet and violet. Alongside these chord tones, the orange and red-orange accents add warmth and tension, colors that press against the cool blue-violet harmony. The étude doesn't ease into the key — it arrives fully populated, all tensions present from the start.
