Description

Three C's — C3, C4, C5 — anchor the middle of this Lent bell. The fifth of the F minor chord, rendered in red, repeats across three consecutive registers before Ab4 and Ab6 complete the arch. The chord's warmth (C=red) accumulates in the middle zone, flanked by F2 in the bass and Ab6 at the crest.

Six notes, Lent, piano, legato: F2, C3, C4, Ab4, C5, Ab6. The arch rises from F2 (dark red-violet) through three C's and Ab4 to Ab6 (light blue-violet) at the top, then folds back. Sixty-two percent midtones — the three C's in the middle register keeping the balance centered.

In a series dominated by Ab (blue) as the distinctive minor third, the three-C sequence emphasizes the fifth instead — red's warmth stacked in three registers before the blue Ab's close the arch. A less typical distribution for this chord.
