Description

Eb octaves from Eb1 to Bb6 — eight notes, the valley dipping to the sub-bass of Eb1. Three Eb notes — Eb1, Eb2, Eb3 — stack in the low registers, then Eb4 continues the pitch. Four accents: red-orange at G3, orange at D4, red-violet at F6, violet at Bb6. Played Animé, mp, in four — natural articulation.

Blue-violet compresses toward black in the bass — three Eb notes descending into near-silence. Eb4 brightens to its characteristic hue. The warm accents — red-orange at G3, orange at D4 — sit among the low registers. Then a wide leap to the top: red-violet at F6, violet at Bb6, both cool-warm tones far above the rest.

The widest-spanning Eb study — sub-bass to near the keyboard's edge, the bass heavy with four consecutive Eb tones, warm accents in the lower-middle, cool visitors placed far above. The valley carries the phrase through the deepest registers.
